Being in the hospital during the sickness is trying times for the patient & the supporting family. Faith and prayer soothes the heavy heart and the weary body. The Counselling and pastoral care department at P S Mission Hospital recognizes the vital role spiritual support plays in quality health care.
We provide pastoral support and spiritual care for the patients, families, and staff of P S Mission Hospital. The department deals with the psychological, social and spiritual needs of the patients & their families. With this belief P S Mission Hospital has a full-time chaplain, staff and pastors engaged in healing people with prayers and counselling.
Our chaplain staff trained in counselling routinely visits each hospital unit and is available to visit, offer prayer, share scripture, or offer a listening ear to those requesting pastoral/spiritual support. Patients or families desiring a chaplain visit are encouraged to contact their nurse.
